Sirtris, a GSK company, is committed to making a positive contribution in the world through its mission of creating revolutionary medicines for diseases of aging and in the local community by helping to bring holiday cheer to children in need.

The company’s generous support of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) closely aligns with its scientific and clinical efforts to develop new therapeutics to address diseases of aging, including Type 2 Diabetes. This past fall Sirtris participated in the ADA Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes in Boston as a corporate sponsor and organized a team of 15 employees to walk and raise additional funds for this important cause.

Sirtris plays an active role in the Boston community through its gift drive for underprivileged children during the holiday season. For the fourth year, Sirtris supported the Department of Children and Families by engaging its employees to provide gifts for children in need. This year the Sirtris team went above and beyond, helping to make this holiday a happy one for 97 children.

Sirtris organized a team to participate in the ADA Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes in Boston this past fall.
